i went out last night with family and friends for a meal and for the first time in ages i felt "normall" i was happy and we had good fun,
i did end up drinking a bit too much wine and now have a stinking hangover.
is it safe to take my 10mg this morning or will any alcohol left in my system effect me or mix badly with the drug?

It is not recommended to have alcohol on these meds as they counter act the purpose of the meds. With that being said I asked my doctor about it as I tend a lot of gatherings with friends and there is always some beer/wine that I want to partake in... My doc said one or two occasionally is fine. so it is understandable that you felt great and like you were yourself again. Enjoy it, unfortunately the hangover is the penalty lol...

You should take your med as scheduled, and remember if you are feeling down today it is more likely the hangover.
