I have had a severely angry nerve on one of my rear left molars for the last 2 weeks since my dentist performed a very deep filling. He has given me antibiotics and diclofenac to try and sort it out. Today is the first day that the tooth hasn't hurt, but behind my ear and under my jaw on the left side has been hurting and continues to do so. I assumed that this was because of the tooth problem. However today it feels like I have been sucking something sour and I have that weird sensation behind my ear and it feels like I have excess saliva in my mouth. I am freaking out that I have an issue with my salivary glands or maybe it is just my tooth. I can't see my doctor or dentist for a few days so I have winding myself up...Any ideas?
