Acne in odd places

I used to suffer from facial acne really bad but I've got a lotion from my Docor that I apply to my face every day to control it, but this past week I've been getting acne where I don't usually get it, like some on my legs and around my waist and hips. Nothing too drastic, just maybe around 6 or 7 large spots. Is this a sign of any illness? Is it more common for this to happen around 'that time of the month'? x

I get acne, I've gotten it on my face, back, shoulders, legs, scalp, mainly a few spots at a time.
using a gentle soap such as dove in the shower can help.
Acne in women can be triggered by hormones too , it's very common.
