I haven't started my citalopram yet ( i keep putting it off....)
I was on fluoxitine for years, i only remember feeling sleepy from side effects so fingers crossed I dont feel too bad on this one!!
I was just wondering about alcohol and this drug.
I only had one bad experience with fluoxitine when I had been taking it for only a week or so, i had a shot of vodka and can't remember a thing!! I was at my best friends house (thank god!!) I was crying hysterically and vommiting :(
I know alcohol is a depressant so they next day I maybe felt a bit down/higher anxiety after drinking.

I wont drink anything for the 1st month or so until im stable but after that do you think ill be ok? how does alcohol effect you?
reading stories of getting violent and blacking out has really scared me (i never read these when i started fluox!):shrug:
