swalled sharp object..

i am so scared, earlier i was eating mini eggs and swallowed part of the outside covering which was extremely sharp, im now getting pain in my stomach and its bloated. could it have injured me or given me internal bleeding? Would it have dissolved in my stomach or injured me on the way down to my stomach? thanks

I think it would have disolved but if you are worried at all the give NHS 24 a call for some reasurance.

Are we talking about the shiny sugar coating on the out side of these eggs???? if so I promise you that by the time it reaches your stomache it will have disolved, its like when you swallow a crisps it hurts your gullet for a while because it scratches it but its fine and causes no problems, as for the bloating its because you are anxious and that too will ease off when you settle down, dont let NHS direct scare you more though.
