i had my head ct scan 2 hours ago. now i am really worried. gotta wait for the results.

if there was anything major wrong would they have kept me there and told me?

i struggled to read the body language to see if any thing was wrong? :(

Hi, I had an urgent CT scan last year. They cannot read the results straight away as so many images are taken at once & they need to be examined and checked. My results took 2 weeks - this was August so some of the key staff were on leave.

Try not to fret too much, not easy I know.

As posted on your other thread, I got my results the next day. The doctor who was in charge of the scan, came into the scanning room while I was still lying down. And he kind enough to say that at first glance, everything seems ok but he would need to analyse the images further.
My specialist doctor was suppose to call me the next morning, but he didn't. So naturally, my mind starts to wonder... is he rehearsing how to deliver the bad news to me?? If it's all clear, it's just a simple call so why should he delay calling? Turns out that he was just too busy in the morning, I got the call eventually at about 3pm and everything was fine.

I know it's easy to say don't dwell on it, take it easy. But in reality for HA sufferers, it's as difficult as moving a mountain. Take care and try some useful distractions to make time pass a wee bit faster.
