Hi

I just wanted to share my positive experience.

After a particularly bad anxiety episode, I decided to see a therapist. i have never seen a therapist before or had any medical treatment (no tablets) for my anxiety, i have just tried to control it myself.

I have seen the therapist for 2 sessions and its just amazing. After the first session i felt better and went for the second just to be sure!

She used a combination therapy. We analysed the triggers, she taught me EMDRT (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy) and hypnotherapy.

I feel stronger, happier and I like myself more. I know I am still going to have moments, but that's OK because I know I can deal with them.

I have worked all the way through my anxiety, socialised and just fought it all the way so I am not the sort of person to ask for help. I can honestly say seeing a therapist is the best thing I have ever done. I wih I had done it sooner and I encourage anyone thinking about it, to go for it!
