When I feel like I need to just relax, chill out and take things easy, it seems impossible to do, I seem so restless, if I just lay on the sofa I get back up again and find something to do etc, its like never getting the chance to relax.....

Sometimes it can be really hard to switch off. Have you considered meditation? I bought a "mindful meditation" CD which was a 45 minute guided session and it has been some use. Although I tend to either have a wandering, overactive mind, or at the other extreme fall asleep, the bits inbetween have been useful and with practice you get better.

Also what do you do in the way of exercise? Could you maybe vent some of your energy into something physical?
