hi guys
i went to docs this morn and she said my cholesterol was high 6.1 and said i need to go on simvastatin 40mg well i don't like taking meds is anyone else on them .and is their any side affects . can they effect ur heart my biggest fear

They do effect your heart in a positive way as they reduce the build up of cholesterol.

ive been on them for a few years ive been fine the slight side effects i got went very quickly x

Hi, my husband used to take these, simvastatin and he had no side effects, nope they do not hurt your heart, infact they are for cholestrel to help reduce it!

Just one word of caution here - before you take them have a look at the website wddty - they have just published a corker of a report into the cholestoral myth and how lucrative this is to the drug industry. I worked in the medical sector and know exactly how pharmacuticals works and its not pretty!

I will not say any more as there will be a storm of posts from the millions of people who are happily popping the pills.
