would a full blood count show up some abnormality if i had advanced cancer?

I know this has probably been asked loads of times, but I get confused with all the different answers. I know a blood test can't say that you do have cancer but would the blood cells show that there is something going on in your body?

Im not sure about all cancers but a blood test can tell a doctor if you have cervical cancer x
