to be honest i'm just having a look.

i'm 25 and work from home and have become increasingly introverted.

i get severe stomach cramps and dont like going out without having a couple of brandys.

i dont know if sharing this will help but i'll give it a go.

thanks for the welcome guys.

i'm going to have a look around and read some other posts to see if i can find some situations similar to that of my own.

I'm not sure of the severity of my problems, though from what i can gather there relativly mild.

i'm 25 and yoused to work in the city for 4 years.

none of my other friends pursued a career such as this and i was forced to detach myself from them.

I used to go to the casino a lot to gamble and soon found that the only format on which i consistanty won was cards.

instead of playing for pleasure with the introduction of internet poker i found i was able to make enough to survive(although a lot less than my current job)

I was only 22 and decided to quit my job.

i was able to reintergrate myself with my old friends but only in a limited capacity.

as adults it was clear we had all aqured different interests and ways of living.

i've always suffered from stress and stomach ulcers as i used to live unhealthaly.

the more i stayed in the more i became used to it.

when i do go out for a day out i like to go up town and enjoy my own company(listening to my mp3 throughout a pub crawl may seem a bit odd but i really do just enjoy my own company).

I realised i had become a bit introverted and reclusive but reconciled this with inpromptu visits to family and friends.

three days ago a situation arose whereby i realised i was struggling a bit more than i'd like to admit.

i had a few errands to run which included food shopping.

it was about 3pm.

i'd finally got up the bottle to do it after a couple of hours of deliberation.

the thought of going round all those shops culminating in a trip to the food store was too much.

i went to the nearest betting shop and lost £850.(the amount i had on me at the time)

I felt so relieved as i went straight home no longer with the means to carry out my tasks

i'm usualy able to go out localy but it was so bright and busy.

i dont know how odd you all find this but i would be happy for your feedback.

my friends just seem to think i'm lazy and ostentacious with my money as i usualy pay them to go out on errands for me so this is the first time ive ever really said how i feel.

Hi & Welcome B,

I know how you feel, I can manage going out locally fine, but always try putting off errands I have to do (shops included). Hope you find all the information you need & you will definitely get the support from everyone on here.
