Jaw..strain??

Is it possible to strain facial muscles?? I clench my jaw in my sleep prob cos I'm anxiety-fying myself in my sleep, hey why stop when your eyes close?

this made me smile... my jaw pain is one of those little niggles that keeps chipping away at me... I clench at night too and i assume it's because of that.. bit concerned it's on the left side though., if it was on the right I probably wouldn't think about it.

Mines the left too. I do the clenching a lot without knowing in the day I suddenly realise I'm doing it. . I also had a sinus infection at xmas that was on that side.

I spose the clenching contracts the muscles, I keep thinking it notices!! Wonder what wierd n wonderful ailmant my anxiety can drum up next!

i get it in the left arm too (great) it's amazing how many aches & pains tension can create!

When you actually think about it, it really iis amazing what wierd n wonderful pains our anxiety and brain can conjure up!
