Tender swelling underneath ears

I'm so worried.

Woke up this morning and noticed there was a tender swelling right underneath both my ears, my ears also feel quite weird.

Anyone had anything similar? I'm terrified its cancer. :weep:

Definitely not cancer. Probably just local cold/infection especially if it's tender. Could also be you just tensed the muscles in that area yesterday so it's just a muscle response...

Do you grind your teeth in your sleep? I do, and sometimes it can make the entire area sore. Just a thought.

The swelling seems to have gone down a little bit thankfully, just had all these rushing thoughts about lymph nodes etc.. this morning and got myself all worked up, oh the joys of anxiety. :weep:

Think it might be an allergic reaction actually, had a rash on both my arms yesterday so would probably explain it.
