I've always known early waking to be a classic symptom of anxiety for me. I can get to sleep, but then find I will wake early at certain times. For some strange reason with me, it's either 3.17, 4.17 or 6.17; I have no idea why!
I've been taking anti-depressants for a few months now and generally feel much improved, but what I'm finding recently is that I'm waking early - but without the anxiety. I'll wake up, look at the clock, think "oh, it's 4.17 again", then go back to sleep.
Maybe it's just because I'm a light sleeper, but I was just curious if anyone wakes early, but without the anxiety feelings?
