Sore back after sleep

Past couple of days I've woke up with a sore back all over right to my neck. Not sure if it's how I'm lying but it never usually does this. I think it's happened before and gone away. Is it normal to get these bizarre back pains? :unsure:

I woke up to a sore neck or back a couple of times due to bad sleeping posture. Those pains usually go away within a week or so.

Yes, I sometimes get a sore back bothdown the sides or across the shoulders, not sure why but feel sure its nothing sinister as had it for years.....I can only best describe it as feeling as though I have laid heavy in a certain position ?

How old is your mattress ? I replaced my 10 year old one because I was always getting pains and aches , they have reduced a lot since the new bed, I also wake up feeling more refreshed and seem to be sleeping better over all.
I didn't want to waste any money but it really was well worth it in the end.
Also new pillows can help with neck tension
