I have been on Sertraline 50mg for over a month now and they are not helping.

I have slowly been getting worse. This morning I have woke up and can't stop shaking and feel really ill. My face feels a bit numb down one side too

I am on Sertraline 50 mg and it took around five weeks before I felt better. My GP said to give it at least six weeks. Given your new symptoms and worsening condition I would go back to your doctor and see what he suggests. I did have bad side effects from Sertraline, which included increased anxiety, but thankfully these wore off after around four weeks and were slowly getting better before then. You might need to try a different medication.
