Hi. I'm on a mild "down" at the moment; nothing too serious, but my doctor's referred me for counselling which may take a while to come through.

Looking around the Internet (like you do) I came across this site;

http://www.clinical-depression.co.uk/depression-learning-path/

Has anyone tried this approach, and if so, does it work?

Thanks in advance,

Graham .

That costs $97 and the two words that come to mind are snake and oil. Sorry but I am very suspicious of that "style" of website that claims to be able to cure depression with amazing facts that have been otherwise hidden from us, and charges money for it. And when you boil it down, it claims that just an hour's reading will cure you.

If something sounds too good to be true... it usually is.

Ingenious,

Thanks for replying and for your advice. I hadn't noticed it costs $97 - so thanks for pointing that out too. I think I'll give it a miss then.

Cheers,

Graham .

P.S. No need to apologise for passing on bad news about products like this - I'd rather know now than later if a product or course isn't all it's being claimed to be, and I'm sure others here feel the same way.
