View Full Version : How do your attacks start?

Hello. I'd be really interested to know how other people's panic attacks start. Also, does anyone feel a build up to their attacks or do they simply come out of the blue? Sometimes I just know it's going to be a bad day and my symptoms seem worse, but they're always so physical rather than psychological (which I hate!) - it causes me so much confusion and adds to my HA/fear of dying.

Thank you.:)

My panic starts with worrying about my kids.

Moggles, that's really interesting...me too, all the time! My first attack was driving them home (on my own) on the motorway. My worry is always that something will happen to me and they'll be left. Is that normal?

Mine start if my body twinges in any way - which is alllll the time!
I then focus on that symptom all day & drive myself nuts. Only to laugh at myself days later when I realise how silly I've been.
