Burning tight feeling just below ribs in the center

any1 suffer acid/wind ?? i have been having a really good day today as we went to south-port with the kids as the weather was fab anyway after r good day we were just walking down the prop and decided to go for something to eat in the pub i just had a plate of chips as lately i keep getting a feeling like food is stuck just below my ribs in the center every time i eat ... anyway i worried myself silly and after i ate the chips i got a tight burning feeling just below ribs in the center and its like a sickly horrible feeling... i am meant to be on omeprazole but haven't taken any for a while :-( but its really freaking me out keep thinking am sick etc.........

I get a burning/tight feeling just below my ribs when I get reflux of indigestion from eating too fast. It sounds to me like it could just be one of these rather than anything to worry about, especially if it happened after you started eating :) Just keep calm, and try eating slower next time and see if it happens again.
