How long for.

Hello so I was on meds for nearly a year and have come off of them now and would u guess it but my anxiety and panics are back.
I am considering going back on my meds but how long for, are some people on them for life because they really did help me and I was having no panic attacks at all and felt great does this mean I should stay on them forever because I thought that was bad for u.
Sorry I am a bit clueless so any advice would be much appriciated!!

I was on 40mg citalopram and 40mg Propranolol it worked so well for me but I didnt want to be on medication for ever so I came off of them.
