Swollen right tonsil. what could it be?

So i've had a swollen right tonsil for nearly 5 months now. since after i quit chewing tobacco. that's why i am worried to death it could be tonsil/throat cancer. i'm only 18... someone tell me what you think

Hiya. I would very much doubt its cancer. once i had so much pain in throat i couldnt talk/eat and it hurt so badly. once i forgot about it it went. maybe you have tonsillttus. have you ever had it before?

see, the thing that worries me, there is no pain, which is could be either from simple allergies to cancer.
