Sore throat after working with white spirit

Hi all,

Was painting my spare room and cleaned my brushes with white spirit.

I noticed shortly after that my throat felt sore, almost burning a little. Feels okay but it is sore.

I definately didnt swallow any.

Anything to worry about?

I doubt it, it should pass. If the paint is solvent based rather than water based it may even be that rather than the white spirit. I get the same working with some types of metal primer and am fine a few hours later. Still it's a good excuse to stop painting and put your feet up :)
