Hi my name is Sharon i live with my partner and my 2 children who are 18 and 20, i have had anxiety for about 18 years but have managed to hold down a job and have a decent life.as long as you dont ask me to travel anywhere. I wont go fly anywhere so my family have never had a family holiday abroad. I have been going to places in Scotland Glasgow, Edinburgh but thats about it anywhere further just sends me into a panic. I feel safe at home but am missing out on so much. I have just let my family down this weekend as i was meant to be going to London on the train and have backed out at the last minute so therefore my mum and daughter have to go themselves on a flight instead, they are very dissapointed for me as they really thought id manange and are so supportive. Has anyone else got travelling anxiety or am i the only one. Hopefully ill make some friends on this site and not feel so alone in this.
