Hi, just checking in. I haven't been on here for months as I have been battling real neck and head pain - constantly since Nov 2010. I was worried out of my mind that it was something serious, but I've finally been diagnosed with TMJ or now they call it CMD (cranial mandibular disorder) which has a strong psychological component. I have constant headache and pressure feeling. It's hard to believe that I actually caused this myself by letting my HA and other stress get to me and started clenching my teeth and jaw. I have had all sorts of scans (which ultimately showed nothing) and have been on pain killers for months. Luckily now I am seeing a team of health professionals to help my deal with TMJ, but it is up to me to get better and the road to recovery is so rocky.
Does anyone else have this? How are you dealing with it? My HA constantly gets in the way and just exacerbates the problem, causing me to clench up even more. Your experiences and advice would be appreciated.
