Kidney failure fear

The past couple of weeks, I have had problems when I go to the toilet. For example, I have a wee then still need to wee afterwards even though I got everything out. My daughter died from a rare recessive kidney disease at 40 hours old but now I am convinced it was the dominant strain. Another of my friends has kidney failure and one has kidney cancer.

Apart from the wee problem, I also get really itchy feet, often feel tired and have some twitching.

You poor thing - have you asked your Dr for a kidney function test just to reassure you that your kidneys are fine???? One blood test could completely put your mind at rest.

You will be fixated on kidneys after the awful trauma you have been through - have you discussed all this with your Dr??

They scanned my kidneys while pregnant and there was no cysts, but might go in and ask for tests
