Hello I went to the doctors other day about sinus infection e.t.c, I asked him to check my throat so he looked down it with something and told me to say "arr" and said it was fine and just prescribed me loratadine and beconaze spray for my sinuses the thing is when i swallow liquids/food it feels like it only travels down the left side of my throat also i get a lot of saliva in the back of my mouth, I am really worried as I don't feel it is right

swallowing anxiety - it can feel so real - you could ask your doctor to refer you to an ent specialist for a more detailed look down there but they generally know when someone has a more sinister reason for swallowing abnormalities - such as esophageal cancer - this is more likely to be linked to dripping sinus or anxiety.....:)
