Hi

Does anyone else suffer from overwhelming fatigue ? AM am always exhuasted and in bed by 9pm every night and struggle to wake up the next morning. If I do too much one day and feel a little bit mroe tired my anxiety symptoms come flooding back. Have a daytime nap every day.

Is this part of GAD or could it be Chronic Fatigue Syndrome ?

Thanks

KT

Hi,

I'm always tired, and no matter how much sleep i get, i never can get up in the morning. Unfortunately i can't have any afternoon naps as i work and have two small children running around the house causing havoc, or else i would be on the sofa like a shot!!!! In fact i've forgot what its like to be constantly on the go and always looking forward to going out and doing things (them days seem to be long gone) now i just veg out on the sofa and fall asleep in front of the tv, exciting hey!!!!

I know what you mean. Everything is an effort. My days of socialising are long gone. Sometimes I find myself sounting the hourts until I can go back to bed !

Hi Katie - I'm always exhausted - manage to get through the day, but by 7pm have had it! I've been reading the Claire Weekes books and she says thje fatigue is due to glandular exhaustion - basically when we are constantly stressed and anxious our adrenal glands get a hammering - which is why B vitamins etc are so important. She says that anxiety added to fatigue prolongs it and that it will heal, if we stop be anxious about it!!! Make sure you eat well and try to get out in the fresh air everyday, its helped me alot.

Hi

Me too! I have slept every afternoon for nearly 20 years now!! I have been diagnosed with ME but to be honest I think anxiety just utterly wears you out....

I've long since decided it's my body clock and should live in the mediterrenean - more sun and siestas that's my dream!!!!:D

It's ok when you CAN, but I have to go back to work soon and I'm really worrried....

Do you mind that your dizziness is worse when you are more tired ?

My dizziness is definatly worse when I'm tired, I rarely get it during the day anymore, but it still appears in the evenings. Strangely its worse when I lie down and relax. It doesn't scare me like it used to, but its still not very pleasant. When do you get dizziness?

If you're worried about chronic fatigue have a look at this site
http://www.chronicfatigue.org/
You can e-mail the doctors or arrange a phone consultation for $2 a minute to discuss your symptoms and ways to move forward. I spoke to Dr Andrew Neville and he was great, made so much sense.
