Urgent please - blood test / DVT

I have just got home from a blood test - this is my second one this week - one in different arms. I dont have problems with blood tests usually. This one is causing pain in my arm and also a large lump has appeared over the site - can blood tests cause DVT or anything I should worry about.

Hi. i think sometimes the needle can cause that to happen. It wont cause a DVT and dvts normally happen in the leg are really painful, go red and hot and swell up a lot. :) take care

It's just swelling from the puncture site. Sometimes the needle will pass thru a small valve and cause it to swell. It will go down o. It's own soon. Nothing to worry about

its just swelling the nurse prob didnt press hard enough or long enough on your arm after taking the needle away
a cold compress should help x

I had that a few days ago from a blood test, very annoying! Don't want that nurse again, left a bruise too :( Hope you're ok :) x
