Is it bad to sleep with wet hair? will i pick up colds and get headaches. I have chin length hair (short for a girl) but its icky, its frizzy and curly. I wash it every other day. Anyway i want to reduce heat damage to my hair so i want to stop blow drying it and straighten in the morning but im worried will this damage my health.

isn't it a myth that you can catch a cold from being cold? I'm not sure... anyway i'm sure that the worst that could happen is that you get a headache. Why don't you dry it with the cool setting and just run your fingers through your hair to detange rather than blow drying it.

I can never be bothered with the faff of drying my hair so I'm always going to sleep with wet hair. I try and towel dry and scrunch dry it (I too have curly ish hair) but its always still wet when I get into bed.....and no harm as ever come to me :)

I've often slept with my hair wet as it frizzes if I blow dry it.
Now I only wash my hair in the morning instead.

It's been proven on mythbusters you can get a cold from being wet and cold.
