sore throat ,still jaw one side

hi im really worried i cant get into the doctors until next week my throat is a bit sore ,feels lumpy when i swollow,and my jaw right next to my ear feels stiff im worried its something to do with my heart as i asked doctor google:( im 26 but i do smoke :(

Hi Sam,

You have to remember that your throat, nose & ears are all connected, so if one is affected so are the others.
Do not consult Dr Google again!!! He is evil!!!
Wait for your appointment & try to think rationally about things.....in the meantime lots of hot drinks & cold/flu remedies.

Hi there,

I've had a terrible cold since Friday. Started with a sore throat, is now congestion with a cough. My jaws/teeth have been sore the whole time! Your sinuses are connected to your jaws (who knew!) which causes it.
I know I was concerned too!
