Hi there need some opinions on what I'm going through at the moment thanks in advance.
Well about a year ago I got diagnosed with OCD due to having thoughts of harming others and just generally feeling in the dumps about life. I was put on 40mg of Citalopram and visited a psychiatrist for about six months. After that I felt great and back to my old self. I was going out a lot more and trying new things e.c.t.
I've since tried reducing the dose first to 30mg that was fine and then to 20mg. On 20mg I can feel myself slipping back to how I was before. The thoughts are coming back although I am dealing with them better now. I have also slipped back in to probably over thinking everything with questions like "who am I" "whats life about" and just general negative thoughts about everything.
Going to see the doc next Friday will probably ask to go back up a dose.
Anyone been though a similar situation?
