Bleeding in-between period
About 16 days ago I experienced intense lower back pain and light pink bleeding only when wiping + brown discharge for about four days ( 2 weeks after my last period ) I also had thick clear discharge in the days afterwards.
This led me to believe that I may be pregnant however on top of using protection, and not having vaginal intercourse in those two weeks (I had sex with my boyfriend), but I took a test today (about a week after my expected period) and it came back negative. My cycle tends to be very short, generally 20-22 days. However my last cycle was longer than usual (27 days) and on top of that was much heavier than usual, with lots of large blood clots & not a steady flow (I actually stopped bleeding during the night even before getting into bed and would start again in the morning)
So it's now day 27 of my cycle again and my period is nowhere in sight. I'm not sure what to make of it. The only thing I can think of is that during those two weeks (22nd - 27th) I was under a lot of stress every day and the day I finally got a break from the stress is the day that the spotting & pain began. I'm not sure if that's somehow related ... I'm hoping that's it and it's nothing more insidious.

Well - I'm still a bit anxious, I took another pregnancy test today just to be 100% certain (though I was pretty sure but had some symptoms such as a break-out in acne and some cramping that made me suspicious) and it came back negative as well. So I'm still sans period.

I'm thinking of definitely going to the gyno if I don't get my period by the end of July. I didn't like the way my last period looked and now that I haven't even gotten this one yet it makes me wonder if something is going on down there.
