Safe to take Diazepam when breastfeeding?
Hi everybody,
I know, i should consult my GP first and i will next time i am there (trying to avoid going - you know what i mean!)
But do any of you know if it is safe to take diazepam whilst breastfeeding, just wondered if any of my fellow sufferers are breastfeeding mothers,as we are obviously limited to what we can take.
Most of the time i can cope with my home remedies etc but there are times that, if i knew it was safe to take one, i would. Please be rest assured everybody that i will not take it without medical advice first!!
thanks

Contact your doctor or pharmacist about this matter but this was on netdoctor.co.uk
Not to be used in

Well I would talk to your Dr as he will weigh up the benefits and risks for you.
If you need to use diazepam how about you bottle feed instead, that way you will not need to worry about it at all.

I would say definetly not, try and hold out till you see your gp as alcohol goes into your milk freely so i reckon these would do the same xx
