Im starting to panic over a popping sensation in center of chest I've just had. No pain just a feeling of air bubbles or something like that. Im scared. I ended up in hospital yesterday with chest and left arm pain and had ecg and bloods done which were normal so im trying so hard not to think it something heart related and completely freak out. Please help.x
Sounds like indigestion. Trapped air.
If you had an all clear yesterday it's unlikely there's anything seriously wrong.
I find when I'm anxious my body produces a lot of wind which causs some strange sensations and pain too
Thanks for getting back to me. I hate this so much. It honestly frightened me . It was just a popping sensation but because I have an intense fear when it comes to heart or anything to do with chest I panic over every symptom or sensation there.x
Gas gas gas! Sorry but honestly what you are feeling is bubbles popping in your stomach as anything in your stomach is felt in your chest or between the shoulder blades. I have known quite a few people rushed to hospital with agonising chest pain that has resolved with a big burp:)
Have you tried any of the over the counter meds like gaviscon or windeze etc?
I had a bulging sensation a long time ago in my sternum and I diagnosed myself with an aortic aneurysm, I was so terrified. Had an ultrasound, was normal, but, there was alot of gas. Took some simethicone and that cleared right up.
Sometimes anxiety sufferers swallow ALOT of air without realizing it.
