Floating stool

I’m going through a major anxiety flare up about floating stool at the moment. I am taking fibrogel as I have piles and my anxiety is playing havoc with my appetite so I’m not eating well either. I just want to know if other people have experienced this and it’s been OK? I also regularly have mucus in my stool, especially when i am constipated which can be quite often.

Positive thoughts

Yes! And so do my children (who are totally rubbish at flushing the loo!)
My dad, who is a now retired colorectal surgeon says people who have diets high in veg have floating poo
