Failed CBT now to start Systemic therapy?

I was just wondering if anyone has any experiences of Systemic therapy? I have been told that CBT will not be suitable for me as I need help to deal with the realities or the 'system' I am currently in hence systemic therapy! I don't know much about it other than it is a branch of psychotherapy that deals with the situation or 'system' my life is in with regards to how I feel about this 'system' (I think!) and the warning that is it is going to be very tough. I am still being refered at the moment so I don't know if the psychologists will accept me or not yet!

Just wondering if anyone has any experiences as I am struggling to find much on line about this.
