Hi from Glasgow!!
Hi there,
Ive just stumbled on this site earlier and been glued to it since! My Name is Brian and im 32,ive always been a supremely confident person and never suffered from anxiety or panic attacks until towards the end of last year that was!! Man has this panic attack lark totally changed and affected my life beyond belief,due to my attacks i have suffered the following....demotion at work,been rushed to a & e 3 times (u know the symptoms guys!) became a hermit,put on tons of weight,and to top it off my G.F of 2 and a half years has just dumped me:scared15: (was apparently fed-up with staying in) Anyways,total respect to all facing their problems,lets face it head on and not let it beat us!!!

Hope you are feeling a little better today. Glad you decided to Join as honestly people are lovely here and the site is there for when you have good days and bad.
Double whammy hey I do understand same here, but unfortunately we cannot control what other people do, so right now you have to put you first... It will be hard but be determined....
Here to talk most evenings and there is always someone around ...are you getting help? counselling or anything, in some areas they do support groups..

Hello Brian,
Sorry to hear you've had such a hard time. Don't despair though, you can get through this with the right help and frame of mind. The fact you've joined here sounds like you also want to help yourself and that is a big part of recovery. You'll get lots of support and comfort here and you'll realise that you're not alone.
