Re: Crystal Therapy Advice Thread!
Oooh no Mystics the more the merrier hun! :yesyes:
Bet - I always think sodalite is a good place to start hun and then also look at what other factors influence your anxiety and the sort of symptoms you get ie; I can often feel very ungrounded when overly anxious which is why smokey quartz is such a help to me as well as the sodalite!!
Funnily enough I am wearing sodalite today purely cos it looks nice with my top!!
Now guys in one of my latest books by Judy Hall (a crystal healer I really rate) she is recommending kunzite for anxiety and panic attacks so I really want to look into this one - Happyone if you read this she also recommends it for Bi Polar (think it may have some lithium content). It's a little bit more expensive so the stone you get may not be as big as normal but they do sell it on the hogglewick site.
This stone is to be my next purchase - Mystics hun any views yourself on this one????

Re: Crystal Therapy Advice Thread!
Morning all :) ,
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM kunzite what a lovely gift from mother nature but remember i am well biased cos i love all my crystals :D
Properties I have for kunzite are as follows guys :-
Kunzite is said to help one to understand and interact better with others, to help heal "broken hearts", to relieve stress and anger, and to bring love, peace and harmony. It is also a stone that removes obstacles. Kunzite is said to help strengthen the circulatory system, and to be helpful in the treatment of lung disorders.
Happyone the usual colour for kunzite is a lovely pale pink, the jellier the colour so to speak the better the quality :D
Judy Hall a very talented lady indeed :yesyes:

Re: Crystal Therapy Advice Thread!
Just wanted to update on the kunzite as the more I read and research the more I think this wonderful stone is one to try for us anxious folk.
I have just bought 2 pieces of kunzite, one as a pendant and one as a stone that I can put into a spiral cage and wear on a longer chain.
Not only does Judy Hall rate this one as good for panic attacks (you just hold it in your hand) anxiety (wear as a pendant) and bi polar (wear as a pendant) but so does Cassandra Eason in her book 'Healing Crystals'.
" Kunzite relaxes tense muscles and relieves tension headaches, panic attacks, mood swings, and psychomatic illnesses. It is beneficial for addictions and phobias or compulsions linked with low self-image."
..... and that's before I even get started on Judy Hall's advice.
It's ususal colour is indeed pink (or more clearish/opaque with a hint of pink) but it does come in yellow and green too.
Happyone I was thinking that perhaps you could concentrate on the kunzite (since it's recommended for bi polar) for a while now and come away from the amythyst which I know you are attracted to but I think may have the same effect on you that drink does sometimes too - ok!
Really looking forward to wearing this stone and it's a nice easy one to blend with all colours of clothes too.
I have just cleansed mine and put them out in the sun to charge (although I won't be charging them in sunlight regularly cos kunzite fades in the sun) I will put them on a windowledge to get the moonlight which is a nice gently energy anyway!!
Mystics can I ask you a question hun - do you know where I could get a diary of details of phases of the moon. I'm very interested in the relationship we have with the moon cycles. You other guys this isn't as whacky as it sounds there are many gardeners who will only plant dependent on if the moon is full, waxing, waning etc.

Oh Piglet......take my amethyst away from my bed:ohmy: So it has inebriating properties eh? I will tell shrink...'no I have not had any alcohol but I have overindulged in amethyst!' Seriously hun..thanks, I will put my amethyst back on the shelf. I expect I will get the kunzite tomorrow.
I have my little bag of starter crystals, but I have forgotten what they are:wacko:

Yes you can say my friend Piglet says ............. mmmmm think he may change your new medicine again with those sort of remarks lol!!
Yes hun put your amethyst on a shelf cos it can be cleansing the room of negative stuff anyway but don't use it to meditate with or wear just at the mo.
I'm gonna wear my kunzite most of the time and then give my smokey quartz cluster abit of a stroke now and again - me and smokey are like that (I'm crossing my fingers here to indicate just how close we are) but I'm gonna see if me and kunzite are gonna be good buds!! Somehow the way I say kunzite makes it sound ever so slightly vulgar, wish it had a slightly prettier name!!!
