Thanks so much for the reply. Its put me a bit more at ease. I may ring the gp. I also feel sick with a mild headache, but my mum gets migraibes a lot and she gets the nausea.
No harm in ringing the GP if it's unusual for you; I know I did when it happened to me.
Glad I could ease your mind a little.
Well done, BI! Aren't these called scintillating somethings? They are weird but completely harmless
Scintillating Scotomas. If I just had the one I’d just brush it off, but this double one has worried me. Hopefully just accumulation of the recent weeks’ stress.
Seriously, doubles are scary but nothing. They're literally never symptomatic of anything other than migraine, and stress is often a factor. When mine were at their worst, any tiny thing could trigger them.
I went through a phase of getting several a week, really wasn't fun.
Same, actually. I thought I'd just been looking at a bright light and then it just *wouldn't go away*. I was in the work break room, eating lunch, talking to my boss and wondering if I was having a stroke.
I learned a few years later that both my parents get them, so I guess it was inevitable.
