Should I expect it to suddenly go away one day? Sadly it’s not happening yet
I’m sure you’ve had colds before Phil, they get gradually better.
My mum and I still have the ones I was telling you about before too! Give it time, take over the counter for pain relief if you need it, plenty of fluids and rest when you can. It’s uncomfortable but not the end of the world.

Yes that’s true I mean I don’t mind a cough but this feeling weak and tried all the time it makes work hard or on a day off going out to the town is very difficult as I just want to go back home and sit by a heater
I apologise for moaning I don’t usually feel this run down by the cold perhaps I need to be taking regular vit c tablets?
Re: Can anybody recommend a wash basket?
One day you’ll just realise you feel better.
But yes, regular vitamins are a good idea.
Re: Can anybody recommend a wash basket?
You're bound to feel a bit washed out Phil. That's normal as your body is working to get rid of the virus. Rest when you can, try to eat and drink well.
Re: Can anybody recommend a wash basket?
You're in the grips of ManFlu, Phil. You have my sympathies. I hope the worst is over soon.
At least you now have a wife to mop your fevered brow....

Yes 11 days suffering it feels like it will never go away I mean they might not seem rational but my ocd says I could be battling this by Xmas. I hope I am wrong I mean I made it out today on a train and went quite far but like I make work by the time the evening comes I feel much worse.
Re: Can anybody recommend a wash basket?
Well that’s because you’re tired from your day. Your body is working hard to fight the virus, and so it gets tired easier. That’s why you need to rest. Drink lots of water too.

Luckily I feel a bit better today
I have a bad cough though and I eat something and the food feels stuck In my throat even hours after eating I guess the cold has caused this? The doctor suggested it would take two weeks to recover tomorrow is 2 weeks.
