Isn't he leading the betting now?!!! :scared15:
In other news, Farage has got a Brexit bus :roflmao:

So I love the BBC. I love the idea of the Reithian Educate, Entertain, Inform but I think Lord Hall has a problem on his hand at the BBC as I think current affairs at the BBC is in a bit of a mess recently.
1. Today programme has a right wing bias that is obvious
2. Andrew Marr has a left wing bias
3. Question Time seems to be in love with certain political characters like Nigel Farage which undermines its currency
4. It feels to me like we need a fact finding current affairs programme on the BBC that polices the BBC current affairs news, perhaps after Newsnight on a Friday would be nice
ALSO the after dinner speaking route leads us to an outfit called The Speaker Bureau which touts such corporation luminaries as Andrew Marr, Laura Kuenssberg, Michael Buerk, Andrew Neil, John Pienaar, and Newsnight's Kirsty Wark and Nick Watt as "specialist Brexit speakers" for conferences and events, alongside overtly partisan figures such as David Davis, Liam Fox and Nick Timothy.
It just all feels like we have a current affairs team at the BBC that is recelling in Brexit perhaps for all the wrong reasons ???
Another interesting poll. Sad that Labour are spinning everything as a far right issue: https://amp.theguardian.com/politics...ch-to-lib-dems
I just dont get why people are taken in by Nigel Farage.
He absolutely panders to what folks want to hear but underneath it he is completely flawed as a politician however that doesn't seem to ever come across in MSM. He gets less attention on his discreditable traits than other politicians and is able to trot out the everyman personality that seems to be what folks want. It all feels underpinned by a casual racism that he has on offer as well, speaking against the Elite yet he is finded by the Elite.
Are they? Why can't some of us hold our noses and vote? That's done to the left and right. Then it doesn't mean you are agreeing with that person or party but are tactically voting.
Consider the spin the EP elections are a 2nd ref. If I voted against the government I've just voted for a party that will spin it a Remain win.
Once the ref was out of the way all but the diehards fled UKIP. Doesn't that show they were only there over the EU issue and the refusal of other parties to face it? If they had sorted this Brexit out, and come up with a palatable deal to satisfy those more to the softer ends or both Leave and Remain, Farage would have very little oxygen other than to diehard Leavers just as some appeal to diehard Remainers.
On the news it said police has asked McDonalds in Edinburgh not to sell ice cream and milkshakes with Farage holding a rally there. Burger King announced they would still be selling theirs. I wonder whether that was a marketing thing to tout business off McDonalds or a political statement of how they feel about Farage: :whistles:
The Guardian has more than one bias in this, they also dislike Corbyn. They've been clear about him from the start.
I do believe there is a spectrum but that there must be 2 sides as you can't be both. I think the 30% who didn't vote won't just be people who didn't know what to do but a fair chunk of people who couldn't care less. If you put up a vote of TV shows vs politics, TV will win every time.
I don't need to know who I'll vote for, I've already done it. I'm still a postal voter from when I had my breakdown and couldn't make it to the booths. Both my parents are elderly so are postal voters too.
My reasons for voting lie with a complete lack of trust in the Tories and Labour. They won't get the job done. All the while we are being told less people want this and so it is time to remind our politicians who put them there. I too don't care about Farage and his dirty dealings, I don't care what he had for breakfast either. He's a means to an end and my preferred outcome from this is an absolute trouncing of the two parties who need to do the work. That is the only way they will pull their fingers out. After that, my vote returns to one of those two, for now.
Is there a party you can vote for who doesn't have it's share of reprobates? Vote Tory and you certainly have your Moggies, Johnson's and all the other money grubbers and morally lacking individuals. Vote Labour and more of the same. LibDem also. SNP certainly. UKIP...it goes without saying :roflmao: Why? Because they are human beings and we all have a past.Don't buy into any politicians saying they are against the elite, politicians are the elite!
I'm still for a deal. But this is the EP's, not a GE so we don't need to panic just yet. :winks:
Does anyone else think Labour have seen a drop in the polls that has caused the LibDem increase? Therefore Corbyn's lack of policy has pushed voters to Cable?
Some Labour MP's are saying this as reported today. I find it interesting that Labour had support in the polls despite having the same lack of mission statement but the closer we get it is drifting. It may be a poll blip or it could be that people were sticking by them but are now giving up or sending their own message.
Sadly, Corbyn will witter on about the next GE and how society can be changed whilst avoiding all questioning of the most important political issue of the century so far and for a long time. Sadly for him he came to power at the wrong time and has seen his mission pushed off course by a far bigger problem to resolve and he's come up wanting.
If you take a look at this polling chart you will see Labour decreasing as the LibDems increase. It also looks like the Greens are declining slightly, not sure what that's about. The SNP are declining. But just look at CHUK, they have failed and the votes they attracted must have been split out to LibDems, back to Labour, Greens maybe?:

Lol! Good stuff, Pain.
I hear old Nigel took a milkshake bath today... that can only help him at the polls... when's the election? Tomorrow?
Guardian fail. Leave & Remain are apparently neck & neck...if you count the Tories and Labour as Remain parties. Also it does seem to dilute how one party is miles ahead now. I really don't think you can count Labour and the Tories this way but also how many vote for reasons beyond tactical? https://amp.theguardian.com/politics...-election-poll
