If you find yourself ill shortly then head for your GP to deal with the possible bug you may end up with for eating this.
I didn't swallow it I just put a tiny bit of the red stuff in my mouth because I was desperate to see if it was food. I'm sure it was food because I only see that stuff after eating red vegetables/pepper and it felt a little fleshy and not bloody

What you can do is take yourself out of that situation. Insert waiting time to distance the point between the trigger thoughts and the compulsion. Given how you are only starting out with recovery alternative actions such as taking yourself away from the temptation would be better for you. So, go and do something and do it for 15 minutes.
You need to get and do some stuff. Anything. Go do some cleaning for your mum, I'm sure she would appreciate some help. But get up and doing things. You won't stop yourself in this cycle if you are sitting in front of a computer.
It's awful because now I know it can't be hemorrhoids because of how dark the bloody mucus was and it just wouldn't make sense for it to be them
I will try doing the waiting time thing. I don't know if I'm strong enough to resist it though

I'm not enjoying it though if I describe how much I ate it's subconsciously because I'm scratching around for reasons why I bled and if people affirm that to me then it helps because I ate an AWFUL lot and the alternative is... well cancer or a polyp or something nasty.
I didn't eat my poo, it was just a red bit in it
I feel like there's nothing I can do because people (not you specifically, just like in general) should, I think, be more alarmed about this than they are but they're not... like I saw a big long strand of dark red bloody mucus on my stool. That's just sickening and seems serious. But no one else seems to be shocked
I'm just so done, I feel trapped like I'm just getting worse and worse blood related symptoms as time goes on, I'm just finding it so difficult to cope. I wouldn't have held it together before the meds for sure

Checking and pushing 'bits' around to assess is one thing, THAT is quite another. Toby, do something about the complete rubbish you are eating, you demonstrate an appalling diet and then wonder why you have intermittent constipation and the runs, that yes, set off hemmi bleeding.
I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I was just desperate
But I don't see how it can be hemorrhoid bleeding if the blood was so old, some bleeding clearly went on after I finished on the toilet that first time I saw blood again
And the strand of mucus, TMI I know, was like stuck to the stool almost like inbetween two bits of harder stool, I don't know, I just don't see how that could've possibly come from my rectum
I'm sorry :(

Re: Have I got rectal cancer?
I told my mum about everything and she was more bothered about the fact that I ate the pie than the fact that I saw more blood..
I asked if she thought the blood was because of some damage I may have done to the inside of my colon because it hurt and everything so I may have done some damage if there was a lot of pain, and she was like, rather angrily, "How can you damage the inside of your colon? It's just hemorrhoids"
That scared me because I'm pretty sure it wasn't just hemorrhoids due to the fact that the blood was clearly old and in mucus and if it's not due to a fissure in my colon or damaging it or WHATEVER then WHAT ELSE CAN IT BE? She may as well have told me "Yeah it's a tumor or a polyp"
Though in the past I have inspected my rectum myself and I remember once, actually on a few occasions, there were small traces of mucus with more fresh blood in them, just from inside my rectum, not far inside either. And there's obviously no polyp or anything in there because the consultant checked, so it by a miracle could've been hemmies BUT I really don't think so
I did hold the stool in which was like a lot of both hard stool and diarrhoea, more diarrhoea though I think, packed into my rectum for like 15-20 minutes so it could've caused damage but I don't know :(
Re: Have I got rectal cancer?
Here's a new story I haven't read before about a poor 18 year old boy who got diagnosed with bowel cancer
https://www.teenagecancertrust.org/g...yreese-telford
He's stronger than I am and I don't even have anything diagnosed.. I don't know how people do it but I deeply admire them.
