Hi. This is my first post. I have the throat problem at the moment. It is not bad as I am very lucky as I was thought to recognise symptoms as not dangerous 15 years ago when i first had a problem. I know now that symptoms may be distressing and uncomfortable but not dangerous. In time they will pass if i welcome the feelings as a chance to practice dealing with them rather than being scared by them. It is the fear that keeps them going (in my case - I can't speak for anyone else).
15 years ago i went through a bad time (in hospital twice) but eventually I learned to understand what was happening to me and I developed some key reminders for myself that i could rely on to remind me that i was ok and that i was not amd and that there were perfectly sensible reasons why I encountered these feelings.
I wish I had this site then.
