It's the one thing we all have in common...mortality

Emerson Lake and Palmer all died in the same year! Weird. But not Carl Palmer. Arnold Palmer...the golfer. Still kind of weird though.:)

Former President Jimmy Carter is 92.
As is the first George Bush.
Think Henry Kissinger is still pretty active at 93.
My grandma just turned 90.
Re: Gone but not forgotten!
Liz and Phil are still going strong in their nineties although I'm sure the Royal Obituaries have been on standby for years
Re: Gone but not forgotten!
Doris Day is 94, so is my Auntie who is still smoking and drinking :D
Dick Van Dyke is 90
Re: Gone but not forgotten!
that made me laugh carnation, one of our neighbours has just turned 85, widowed twice and we see her in the shop buying gin and smokes. if you ever watched it she is the double of lizzie from `prisoner cell block h` and swears quite happily at people in the street or just to herself.
she`s one of those who`ll die when she`s good and ready, I don`t think even the grim reaper would get the better of her :D
Re: Gone but not forgotten!
I know it's amazing. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my auntie and she can give a good argument too. She's really is on the ball. My gran was the same, so I can sort of see my future. Visions of 'The Lady in Van' spring to mind. :D
Re: Gone but not forgotten!
Another that passed was actress Florence Henderson.
But still going at 101 is actress Patricia Morison.
