I ordered pastel colours, but the wool didn’t arrive, hopefully Monday x
Is the blanket going to be a gift for someone or for you?
I hope you have an enjoyable time at your sister's tomorrow..I'm sure you will be pleased to get out and about. Will you see your nieces and nephews?
The blanket is just to practice. Yes , I will be seeing my nephew and nieces. Really trying not to post symptoms today x
My wife does all sorts of cloth related crafts. From knitting to crocheting to jewelry to painting etc. She's an artist in the finest sense. Our home is decorated with her work and we sleep under blankets she's made :) She can literally spend the entire day working on a project with total focus. She's been making masks for the last few months and selling and giving them away to those in need. Heck, I have a color coordinated collection for work ;)
Dive into this. Learn from Youtube videos and such. Having something that inspires you is so vitally important in life. For me, its music. For my wife, its artistic creativity. I hope this is that for you.
Positive thoughts
You know, compared to others' in my family, who actually have made careers out of the arts, my creations looked like crap. But I don't care. And over the years, as I've kept at it, much of my embroidery actually looks like what it's supposed to be, and I can now hang a few paintings on the wall LOL It's never too late to start. The more you do it, the better you get.
I will invite myself over and bring my drawings of stick figures:Dand my home made masks.
OMG, Lola, it's probably good you and I live in separate continents. I have a feeling that if you and I ever got together, we'd get into so much trouble we'd be on the news LOL
