I'd love to meet up anywhere really.
Over the last three years I've had anxiety/depression, been on citalopram for 18 months then came off in July.... same story as most people on here.
Anyway, if anyone wants to get a group going message me on here.

I just joined the forum today, and I also live in Harrogate, in a 1 bedroomed housing association flat, no poshie here,lol, I became too sick to work 9 years ago and lost all my material things. Most folks here are just normal, the 'posh' reputation is greatly exaggerated, especially by W.Yorks folks:huh: and Harrogate council have good reason to maintain that image.
I live next to the open fields but only 20 minutes walk from the town centre, the countryside here is to die for:D
I need to get my serious bowel problems resolved before I can think of attending a meetup, unless we meet at H'gate Hospital!!!!! but it's something to look forward to for the future:yahoo:

Hiya Tyke, In reply to your post for a support group in Yorkshire area? If you live in the Kirklees area and have a good g.p they can refer you to Folly Hall in Huddersfield and they have a group thearapy type group on Mondays. It may take a while to get on it, I had to wait quite a few months. The idea is to do practics on mindfull thinking. I find it a great help. Also I have been going to meditation classes and that helps a lot too. Good luck and take care
