They always do.
I think they use a special lens to get that effect.

I wonder how much they don't tell us considering the things they do? I think I shall have to dig out my Guy Fawkes mask for shopping from now on :yesyes:
Re: Today’s headlines .........
You know, that is one British holiday I've never understood...Guy Fawkes Day. Blow up a small part of the country to celebrate the fact that a small part of the country was not blown up and then name is after the perpetrator.

Many here would agree with you. We learn about it as children, the true meaning of it, but it is quickly replaced by companies flogging fireworks. I doubt anyone really cares about the meaning when they build a bonfire anyway as it's so far in the past it has been forgotten. We probably say much the same about the US version of Halloween which has been moving here for many years (not that we ever celebrated it in the way the Irish do anyway).
A lot of people would like to see fireworks restricted to organised displays now. There is a campaign running for this because of the impact onto pets and wildlife. Given the debate about wildlife being affected by our discarded rubbish it may gain even more support.
The same with Halloween, Christmas, etc. For most people they could rename it all now as it's more about the party side.

Yeah, that’s why I don’t like Christmas...with all the shopping and commercialism...it lasts for 2 months here. It’s not a day. By the time the day rolls around you are sick of it lol
Re: Today’s headlines .........
Getting back to the original topic, headlines...the one about the little girl “who didn’t get raped” in Spain because she unconscious really pisses me off. I can’t stop thinking about that BS.

They took our fireworks away years ago.
Apparently we can't be trusted not to blow ourselves up.
