Anything in that BBC contract about donating 400,000 to the Tory party? (Also helping to secure an £800k loan to Boris Johnson)
Impartial my arse!! :roflmao:

Absolutely Nora. Sounds like Aunty Beeb have cosied up to the Tories over recent years. And many other organisations and individuals who historically had more 'socialist' ideologies, let alone 'impartial'.
Demonstrates how sheepish and gutless many elements of our society have become over the past 10-20 years. Plus only just a few short years ago it seemed to be the Labour Party and those on the Left in general who were perceived as 'public enemy number one'.
BTW, before I get shot down in flames, and to try to come across as impartial as possible myself, I'm not implying all Tories are bad, despite the fact that I would never be seen dead voting for them.
The jury is still out on whether or not consciousness exists outside of the brain after biological death. The NDE suggest consciousness is separate to the brain, in which case things could soon go tits up if we ever work out how to wake these corpses up..
Hey, Mom, why is grandad staggering around the back yard trying to strangle the rabbit (and me)?
That's because his consciousness left his body when he died, and now he has no moral perception, emotions, or the faintest idea of who he ever was..
This is all going to go tits up, I tell ya! :lac:
Also, what about the energy it's taking to keep these old people in the chill zone for years on end? How selfish can you get when the planet's on its arse?
Shift over, Frankenpops, and give other generations the oxygen!
Anyone getting stress due to the cold snap that has happened recently in the UK? I've been feeling stressed lately (and more anxious because of it) and I think the cold weather may have something to do with it.
I think a lot of it's probably down to the way the media hype these things up to the max these days, rather than the actual weather itself. Years ago (unless it was very bad of course), most people just seemed to get on with stuff whatever the weather and often didn't give it as much as a second thought. Nor did we just cancel things willy-nilly at the slightest hint of snow or rain, which largely amounts to actual 'cancel culture' IMO, as opposed to the more usual context of being offended/outraged by X, Y and Z.

My my. So Lineker thought he had a special agreement beyond the charter. Doesn't it all sound very murky...:whistles:

I imagine someone is feeling pretty sick at the moment.
Can I Speak English?...
Apparently not if I don’t want to offend some folks.
‘Oxfam has issued a bizarre new guidebook warning employees against using a string of potentially "offensive" terms.’

Is English a fundamentally offensive language requiring to be rewritten?
I am my Father’s son
And English is my Mother tongueYet now, so I’m toldWith a word often heard
I’m using my vocabulary all,Wrong!
Oh! catch on my breath
Some ancient oath badIn retort to this accursed changeA tongue-tying bind which I findSo utterly unutterablyMad!
Inclusivism, apologism

Can someone help me out here? I'm trying to give my opinion but I'm struggling to be inclusive. I was going to say it was a right load of b0ll0cks but that's clearly masculine. A right load of ovaries?
Isn't it funny how in order to be inclusive it is women in particular that are being eroded? Women spent a long time fighting for their rights and now they are being erased in favour of a very small vocal group who (I suspect) don't even represent the beliefs of most of their own peers.
First world problems, eh? I doubt it's anywhere near as important in areas of the world where surviving is more important.
It's getting ridiculous...
Apparently 'deaf' is out too?
In that case, I will be sending My Batty an e-mail forth-with informing him that he can no longer call me a 'deaf git' for having the TV on too loud. From now on it is, 'OI, PERSON WITH A HEARING IMPAIRMENT. TURN THE TV DOWN!!'
Will neutrality catch on in architecture next? No, it's not the toilet debate but this monster erection...

Isn't it ironic that with all this language inclusivity rubbish "we" are losing sight of issues and qualities which really matter.
As for Oxfam...They are hardly whiter than white. You can't even say that now.
Oxfam will get a backlash in terms of their donations. Once again the innocent and those in most need will suffer because of the woke police who cannot be challenged.
John Holmes Building :roflmao:
If you were the company contracted to clean it would you want it in your resume? I doubt many window cleaners would want to be known for their skills washing a giant nob :roflmao:
Jeez, my dad was drinking this stuff for 50 years!!!
Lol pain, I thought you were talking about home brew beer.
I love your work Pain :yesyes:

Mummy didn't have to put up with this shit. ~ King Charles lll
Also, Camilla is being given a refresher course in protocol and whatchamacallit after disrespecting her Maori subjects on Commonwealth Day and walking ahead of the King..:roflmao:
Imagine a cold March day... you're in ya bare feet doing ya best traditional moves for the King and 'Queen' of England and the cow walks straight past you giving more attention to her crap hat not blowing off in the wind... :whistles:
I don't think Charles will be too bothered by those Anti Monarchists somehow..
Dozens of people. Massive movement then. At the last city upgrading they managed a whopping 20 people including serial loon, Piers Corbyn.
I like how they are complaining about wasted money yet want a republic with a rotating politician costing us a fortune in elections whilst all tourism money is lost.
Have you seen the state of his boat race in some of the pictures? Dude's crushed because his mother was respected (even by the anti-monarchists), and he's currently behind his eldest son, his DIL, and his sister in the popularity polls... (#awks)
Maybe part of the reason for Chaz's strained expression is that he's starting to realise that Cam was wonderful as a side-chick and wife, but she's no queen! I mean, the woman doesn't understand how racist she looks holding a black child by the sleeve of her clothes instead of her hand. Or, how disrespectful (and racist) she looks striding past her Maori subjects as they dance around on a cold stone floor..
Diana would have made a very popular queen, for sure. She'd have stood there and let that hat blow away rather than walk off like an ignorant b-hole. That child would have been sat on her knee and looking happy to be there. As it is, that 'photo opportunity' totally failed for Camilla on two counts. One, she comes across as a racist who can't bear to touch a black child. Two, the child's clearly uncomfortable, and is probably in therapy now for all those disturbing dreams she's had since the Evil Queen's visit...:scared15:
I love your writing nora, you make a good critic/journalist. :yesyes:
Worth noting Camilla in 2019 touring New Zealand. Seen hugging a Maori child and rubbing noses with a Maori man.

These are staged photographs...

Camilla to Charles: Darling, this sounds just like us when we used to go at it in the back of your car!! (Guffaw Guffaw)
It might well be humorous, but you keep a straight grid and show some flippin' respect when you're representing the Queen! (Amateurs!) :lac:
Speaking of which...
Attachment 5786
You just know that the valet responsible for Chaz having to button up his own jacket got the rollocking of his life....:roflmao:
Do you remember the photo of Diana in the operating theatre..in full makeup?Photo opportunity or what?:winks:
Diana loved to court the press.
Sticking with the Royals, Prince Edward looks very frail and appears to have lost a lot of weight. He quietly gets on with his life without too much press attention.I hope he's ok.
Staged? Yet the racists were happy to do it? Which makes everyone pictured open to a staged claim. Why can't there be another reason when one party is white and the other black?
Does their reaction to the traditional throat singing show them to be racist or disrespectful? If it is likely to cause offence then they should know better. Racism isn't proved by this because you can find something funny or ridiculous without being racism.
If Nelson Mandela had sat their laughing his nuts off no one would be making accusations of racism. They might say he was disrespectful.
I'm not sure which event you are talking about with the black child. Is it the one with the Paddington Bears? If so, it looked a bit awkward to me but she held the child's hand after the sleeve lifting and in the same video is seen hugging a black child.
Maybe she's just an awkward non mumsy type? I always thought Charles was uncomfortable around people. I've seen Phillip to appear more formal than the average person. It might be because they know they are being watched or from another world to us. They can come across as someone's 50 year old dad trying to appear he's down the kids.
With the throat singing they should have showed more respect to the community. If it was two r&b women grinding on each other feel free to have a good laugh.
