Hi all
I'm almost sure this is MND this time. I've been experiencing a lot of twitching in my right foot and what feels like a tight calf muscle. Also what feels like slight weakness in my right foot/right leg.
I feel like this has been brought on by strenuous exercise as it has been suggested there is a link. I've recently come home from holiday but the twitching and other symptoms are still there. I can't stop thinking that this is it.
Let us know what the doctor says. 'Told Ya So' gang on standby.

Reading this I thought someone was messing with me as I started having right foot twitching and tight calf muscle just a week ago.
Anyway, I've been twitching non stop in other body parts since January 2022 so for both of us, it's probably nothing.

I realise I already have another post on this thread. But I'm convinced this is now MND/ALS. I've had a foot/leg/elbow twitch all on my right side for the past few weeks now. I'm convinced my right calf feels tight and right foot is slightly painful, almost like it's about to cramp.
It's really getting me down and I'm trying to rationalise and not go down the rabbit hole, but I'm so, completely convinced this is MND. I hate to compare to those that have been diagnosed with this horrific disease but I feel my symptoms have started very similarly.
I am scared but I don't want to go down the drs appointment route.

And it's definitely going to cramp if you continue focusing so much on it.

So now I'm feeling perceived weakness in my right wrist, ugh. Twitching has still continued fuelling the anxiety. It's draining.
Still have tight calf muscle?

Yes, not all the time but thst and foot twitch. Accompanied by mild foot pain

Sorry there isn't mich purpose to this post, other than venting. I just feel I'm at my wits end with this. The anxiety is truly taking over and ruining my life.
Every twitch, spasm, cramp, pain I'm experiencing which is near constant, I am attributing to MND and it's so draining and really getting me down. I'm sure I've hit depression.
Along with this anxiety, I broke up with my ex partner of 9 years in October last year and they were my rock. They'd always be able to rationalise and reassure me, they truly were great. Now that support is gone I just feel quite lost and the anxiety really is taking over.
I just desperately want to find a bit of hope and happiness again.
Sorry for the long message, I just had to get it out.
If it's any consolation we are in the same boat, and hopefully in a month or two if things do not get worse, we will be over this nagging disease.
Hey Hypo84. Sorry to hear you are going through it too, its truly debilitating.
I had the same scare at the end of 2020, but this time I fear it really is MND. It's terrifying.
Have you experienced twitching as well as a tight calf? All my twitching seems to be right sided which has me more convinced.
Same yeah. Mostly right side and tight right calf.
Have you seen a doctor or neurologist?

Did it all stop /I've got this now and it's driving me nuts I'm in the rabbit hole big time trying to crawl my way out. It started with buzzing in feet, then a twitch in my bicep that lasted all day and now I'm popping and twitching everywhere!! I have suffered from severe anxiety for the past 3 months - but of course now I feel weak and looking at all my muscles etc - Dr said that my neurological exam was fine and I didn't need to see a neurologist. Meanwhile I'm twitching all over the place - 2 weeks now ;(
You've received all clear on a neurological exam. There is no way you could have ALS.
So I managed a leg workout at the gym today woth no noticeable weakness.
However my right foot and calf is now twitching like crazy, sending me into an anxious spiral, ugh
Worried_91 I’ve had constant knee and thigh twitching all day today. I thought my twitches had reduced and seemed to be getting them only when relaxed and rested but today it’s like full on right thigh twitching and looks like it moves and you can see them… I was getting anxiety under control but today this doesn’t feel right again!!!! I Have got right hand cramp and throat feels like food is stuck at back when swallowing. All this with the constant twitching today, I feel like I have more symptoms that point towards MND / ALS. Anxiety off the scale again! This is so draining!!!
