Might give it a try.
Thanks
when doing cbt i had masses of notes, thought records etc. i was always concerned my partner might see them - but she's never had any inclination towards taking a peep. i have total trust in her. more recently i have been using writing to offload some pretty heavy thoughts following a bereavement. i have taken them to my counselling sessions & at one point was brave enough to read some. my counsellor was quite shocked at how i write - not that it was terrible - more so that when i'm alone & writing, my real feelings come out. when presenting to her in sessions, i was just all sweetness & light. i dont mean to be like that but that's why writing can be so beneficial if you really get into it.
Re: writing thoughts down??
Likewise I've worried about my wife reading my notes. Don't get me wrong I trust her 100% and she is really supportive but I don't feel ready for her reading them even though I do tell her what I'm thinking a lot of the time, I guess I don't want her to see just how many negative thoughts I have during the day.
The cbt app I've downloaded is really good as well because it's password protected. I have another skeleton in my cupboard I haven't even told my therapist about yet but will do next week (finally plucked up the courage) and I have negative thoughts about this and certainly don't my wife to find it as I'm not ready to talk about it with her yet so ive not felt able to write it down and been bottling it up.

It's called iCBT on iPhone. Was £2.49 very impressed. There is an android one apparently as sparkle told me about it.

Do you know the name of it? Can't find it on Google Play. Tried icbt, but no luck.

Re: writing thoughts down??
Hi Mark,
It's the Cognitive Diary CBT Self Help app by Excel at Life.
Excel at Life have several other free apps to do with anxiety, panic and depression. I've found them all very helpful. :)
